Sales Development Representative

TeleNet Marketing Solutions seeks professional and highly motivated individuals to join our Sales Development Representative (SDR) team. The SDR’s role is to uncover and capture qualified sales leads with businesses on behalf of our Fortune 1000 technology clients.

Summary of Position:

Our sales development representatives (SDRs) are focused on generating new business opportunities for TeleNet’s clients by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers.

This position is responsible for engaging with prospective buyers, scheduling appointments for our client’s sellers, as well as nurturing long-term leads and prospects.

Responsibilities:   

  • Sales outreach, primarily using the phone and email, to business decision-makers, recommenders, influences
  • Target lists may be comprised of “cold” contacts or “warm” hand-raisers or a combination
  • Target lists may be customers, net-new accounts, or a combination
  • Expand and refine the target market by asking for referrals, navigating organizations, and online research
  • Engage in conversations with decision-makers and influencers to understand the current situation and potential upcoming business needs
  • Determine if a use case exists for our client’s products/services. Qualify and determine appropriate next steps
  • If sales-ready: schedule an appointment with the appropriate sales executive
  • Document details of prospecting activities and compose summary statements within TeleNet’s call-center software and/or our client’s CRM
  • Attend scheduled appointments, introducing prospects to their sales executive
  • Work with a sales executive to reschedule appointments, as necessary
  • Seek post-appointment feedback from the sales executive
  • Nurture potential buyers who are not yet ready for an appointment
  • Use a multi-media approach, including sharing relevant assets and demos, invitations to events, and well-timed phone calls
  • Utilize Linkedin for social media engagement and promotion of social content
  • Meet or exceed weekly/monthly/quarterly appointment quota (number of appointments)

Requirements:    

  • Two or more years of experience in sales/marketing, with a track record of exceeding lead targets

Preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Call center experience within a banking facility
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or at least three years of relevant work experience
  • Experience as a sales development representative, with a track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Proficiency with CRM software
